Destroying Strongholds: What to Expect at Kingdom Come 2027

Equip believers to destroy ideological strongholds through biblical discernment, and boldly proclaim Christ in a culture searching for hope.

In every generation, the church is called not only to understand the times but to confront them with truth. Today, that calling means engaging a battle of worldviews, as powerful ideologies compete for hearts, minds, and ultimately souls. Scripture doesn’t leave us to wonder how to respond—it calls us to destroy strongholds. That’s the conviction behind Kingdom Come 2027: to equip believers to discern these influences, stand firm in biblical truth, and boldly proclaim Christ in a culture searching for hope.

Why This Theme, Why Now

We are living through a battle of worldviews. Ideologies that once lived on the margins now shape classrooms, boardrooms, courtrooms, and living rooms. They compete for the hearts and minds of our children, our neighbors, and—if we’re honest—for our own minds. They don’t always announce themselves as ideologies. Often they arrive dressed as compassion, as progress, as simple common sense—which is exactly what makes them so effective, and exactly why discernment has become such an urgent need for the church.

Scripture doesn’t ask us to ignore this battle or to wait it out. In 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, Paul reminds us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds—for casting down every argument and lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God. That word "stronghold" describes something fortified, something that has dug in deep and doesn’t intend to move on its own. Paul isn’t describing a minor skirmish. He’s describing a demolition carried out with the weapons of truth, prayer, and the power of God.

That’s the calling behind Kingdom Come 2027. Not culture-war anxiety, but confidence—the confidence that comes from knowing that God’s truth can withstand the world’s scrutiny. And it needs to be spoken clearly and without apology, into every sphere it’s been pushed out of.

Mark your calendars now: Kingdom Come 2027 will be held March 11-14, 2027, at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

What to Expect

Kingdom Come 2027 will bring together pastors, ministry leaders, students, and everyday believers who yearn for more than talking points. Attendees will leave with discernment they can put to use in their daily lives and various professions.

Across the conference, we’ll dig into:

Every session, every conversation in the hallway, every track is aimed at the same outcome: believers who leave not only more convinced of what’s true but more courageous about saying so.

Pre-Conference Tracks

Before the main sessions begin, we’re offering dedicated pre-conference tracks for three groups on the front lines of this cultural moment: pastors, college students, and educators. Each track digs into what "destroying strongholds" looks like in that specific calling—from the pulpit, on campus, and in the classroom—so you leave not just informed but equipped for where God has actually placed you. Pastors will wrestle with how to shepherd congregations through cultural pressure without losing gospel clarity. College students will be equipped to hold their ground on campuses that are often hostile to biblical conviction. Educators will think through what it means to teach truthfully in a moment when truth itself is contested.

Who You’ll Hear From

We’ve assembled a lineup of pastors, theologians, apologists, and cultural voices who have spent their lives doing exactly what this conference is about—confronting the strongholds of our age with truth and courage. You’ll hear from:

Alongside them will be Alex McFarland, Hugh Ross, Peter Lillback, Bill Federer, Samuel Sey, Virgil Walker, Ryan Helfenbein, Megan Basham, Seth Gruber, and Barry Meguiar—voices spanning apologetics, science and faith, American history, cultural commentary, and journalism. It’s a diverse group with one shared conviction: The church has something true to say to this moment, and it’s time to say it.

A Calling

If there’s one thing I hope every attendee walks away with, it’s this: Confronting the culture isn’t a burden the church has to bear reluctantly. It’s a calling we get to answer. We don’t come to Kingdom Come 2027 looking for a reason to be afraid of the world. We come looking for the courage and clarity to engage it, because the God who called down strongholds through Paul’s ministry is the same God at work in ours.

Kingdom Come 2027 exists to equip believers to discern the influences shaping the world around us, to stand firm, and to proclaim Christ boldly in a culture that is, whether it knows it or not, searching for hope.

I hope you’ll join me on March 11-14, 2027, at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale for Kingdom Come 2027: Destroying Strongholds.
