THE MIND OF CHRIST IN OUR SECULAR AGE
We are living in a time of great upheaval when the winds of culture are blowing fiercely. The philosophers of our day can be found everywhere—from the world of academia to the world of entertainment. They promote their propaganda with the intention of taking our hearts and minds captive. Unfortunately, the majority of North American Christians are walking aimlessly through life with a worldview that is informed by worldly ideologies, rather than the word of God. So, where do we begin to address this very serious problem? God’s Word not only has the answer—God’s Word is the answer. It’s the only tried and true foundation for all of faith and life.
We need to think about all of life with the mind of Christ. Only then can we faithfully navigate this secular age.

RILEY GAINES
FORMER NCAA SWIMMING CHAMPION AND WOMEN'S SPORTS ADVOCATE
Riley Gaines is a leader defending women’s single-sex spaces, advocating for equality and fairness, and standing up for women’s safety, privacy, and equal opportunities. Gaines graduated from the University of Kentucky, where she was a 12x All-American swimmer. Riley has made waves for speaking out after tying UPenn’s Lia Thomas, a biological male swimmer on the women’s team, at the 2022 NCAA Division 1 Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships.
After Riley directly experienced competing against a man in women’s sports, being forced without warning or consent to undress before the fully intact male, and subjected to discrimination by the NCAA, she became one of the most powerful voices to speak out against the injustice, challenging the rules of the NCAA, USA Swimming, International Olympic Committee (IOC), and other governing bodies. Riley now works for the leading women’s organization making real and lasting change, legally defining ‘woman,’ protecting Title IX, and defending women’s rights to single-sex spaces and equal opportunities. She has traveled the country speaking and has testified before the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and countless state legislatures.
rosaria butterfield
AUTHOR AND SPEAKER
Rosaria Butterfield, a former tenured English and women’s studies professor at Syracuse University, experienced a dramatic conversion to Christianity, which she chronicles in her memoir, The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert (2012). Once deeply engaged in feminist philosophy and LGBTQ+ advocacy, Rosaria earned her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University and specialized in queer theory and 19th-century literature. She and her lesbian partner actively lobbied for LGBTQ+ rights and co-authored Syracuse University’s domestic partnership policy.
Her journey to faith began in 1997 after writing an article criticizing The Promise Keepers, which led to a friendship with Reformed Presbyterian pastor Ken Smith and his wife, Floy. Through their hospitality and guidance, Rosaria read the Bible repeatedly, eventually converting to Christianity in 1999.
Now married to Kent, a Reformed Presbyterian pastor, Rosaria is a mother, grandmother, author, and speaker. Her books include Openness Unhindered (2015), The Gospel Comes with a House Key (2018), and Five Lies of Our Anti-Christian Age (2024). Rosaria emphasizes the transformative power of Christian hospitality and offers gospel hope in a culture increasingly hostile to faith. She lives in North Carolina, sharing her story to inspire others to contend for their faith with joy.
