Coach Lou Holtz is an American Football coach and analyst. He served as the head football coach at William & Mary, NC State, the University of Arkansas, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Minnesota. In 1988, Coach Holtz led the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to a National Championship. Coach Holtz is recognized as the only coach in NCAA history to lead six different programs to bowl games. Apart from his immaculate coaching career, he is a brilliant leader and a man of great principles. In this conversation on The City of God, we talk about his philosophy of leadership, the lessons he’s learned throughout his career, and how he instilled values into the lives of the young men that he coached throughout his career.
